  6. In a pan, add water, tamarind, jaggery, dates and mix well - - - Let it boil for a minute on a high flame - - - Once it starts to boil, lower the flame and let it cook for 8-10 minutes
  7. When cooked, turn off the flame and let it cool for 15-20 minutes
  8. Strain the mixture through a sieve, to remove all impurities to obtain fine puree - - - When seived well, discard the remaining seeds, stones etc
  9. Add chaat masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder & salt  - - - Mix well - - Tamarind Date Chutney is ready.
