Steps to make Kevti dal:
- Wash and soak the dal mentioned in ingredients for an hour.. add chopped tomatoes, green chilli, cumin seeds, garlic chopped & a tspn of ghee close the lid and in a low flame cook till 4whistle
- For masala dry roast the mentioned ingredients, let it cool then grind it into fine paste, use as required (u can store this masala for making sabzi and ragda)
- Once dal done mash it then add 1tbspn masala, salt as per taste mix well then add water as required
- Cook till boils
- In a tadka spoon add oil, cumin seeds, asafoetida & sliced onion cook till brown then add tadka to dal and stir and serve with rice
