- Soak both the dals for an hour.
- After one hour…put the dals in a mixer jar leave a little dal for adding after Wards now grind dals to a coarse paste…do not add water while grinding.
- Take fennel seeds.,Coriander seeds, black Pepper, and cumin seeds and crush them coarsely…keep them aside.
- Now take the dal paste in a mixing bowl and add onion, green Chillies, green Coriander, Soaked dal which we kept aside, all the grounded masala, salt,red chilli powder, baking soda and mix well.
- Now if you think batter is on a bit liquid side…add Semolina, this will absorb the extra water in the batter and give crispness to Mangodis.
- Heat oil in a Pan,leave small dumplings in medium- hot oil and deep fry them till Golden brown.
