  2. Cook it until golden brown now add tomato puree (add the green chilli while making tomato puree) and turmeric powder salt and garam masala powder and let it cook on low flame for few minutes.
  3. Now strain and add the soaked dals mix well and cook for few minutes. Then add 250 ml water and salt mix well and pressure cook upto 3 - 4 whistles.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and add lemon juice before serving. Serve with rice or roti as desired.
