  6. Squeeze the karela slices well to remove the bitter juice. Discard this bitter juice and add squeezed karela slices to the wok along with turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Cover and let it cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  7. Add in the red chilli powder and coriander powder. Mix and cover with a lid. Cook for more 5 minutes on low flame.
  8. Keep stirring occassionaly.
  9. Now add in the amchur powder, garam masala powder and sugar. Mix well and cook for more 1-2 minutes, uncovered.
  10. Karele ki sabzi is ready to serve.
  11. Serve hot with chapati or paratha.
