  1. Rinse chana throughly with water. Soak chana for 4-5 hours in enough water.
  2. Take a pressure cooker add oil. Wait till oil is heated. Add onions and green chilli and saute till translucent. Now add all the spices followed by the chana. Stir to combine masala very well with the chana. Saute for 4-5 min more. Add water and pressure cook for upto 6-7 whistles.
  3. Remove the lid after steam. Take one chana and check if it is tender.(If not continue to 1-2 more whistles.). Reduce water if any and stir for 5 min. Transfer to serving bowl.
  4. For chivda: heat sufficient oil in a wok. When oil starts to smoke add chiva and fry. Quickly remove in strainer.
  5. Serve hot ghuni and chura. Garnish chana with onions rings.
