  2. Prepare 1 cup Potato cubes

  4. Take 1 tbsp Chopped garlic

  6. Take 1 cup Chopped tomato
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp Green chilli chopped
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Take 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
  10. Make ready 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  11. Get 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  12. Get 1 tbsp Coriander
  13. Get 2 tbsp Garam masala powder
  14. Get 3 tbsp Ghee/oil
  15. Make ready 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  16. Make ready 3-4 pieces Red chilli whole
  17. Make ready to taste Some spices (2 cardamom, 3 cinnamon, 3 cloves, 2 bay leaves, 2 red chilli whole)
  18. Prepare As needed Coriander leaves for garnishing
  19. Get as needed Sev for garnishing
  20. Make ready 2-3 tsp Lime juice

This is the ultimate "healthy snack idea" as well as a perfect curry to go with most breads like roti, paratha or naan. One of the famous street food is "Ghugni Chaat". Ghugni is made with Dried Yellow Peas. At first we have to soak the Dried Peas for overnight, and then boil it first and cook with spices.

Instructions to make Ghugni Chaat:
  1. Soak the white peas atlist 10-12 hours. - Boiled the soak peas and set aside.
  2. Heat oil/ghee in deep pan add cumin seeds,red chilli whole and all the spices and satue till the fragrent.
  3. Add potato cubes and fry it till golden brown.
  4. Add onion,garlic and ginjer and satue. Add salt and all the masala and satue.
  5. Add tomato and green chilli and satue and cover and cook 5-7 min.
  6. Add boiled white peas and mix it. Cover and cook 7-8 min and add water and stir.
  7. Cover and cook again 7-8 min.
  8. Garnished with chopped Coriander,chopped onion,green chilli,sev and lime juice and serve hot the delicious dish.
