- Put rice,water and salt in a pressure cooker. Give 3- 4 whistles to it. Keep aside till the the pressure releases.
- Meanwhile prepare tempering. Heat oil in a small pan. Put mustard seeds in it,when the seeds crackle put gram dal whole red chillies,hing and curry leaves. Saute for a second. Remove from heat. Keep aside.
- Open the lid of cooker. Put milk in it and mash properly with hands till it gets creamy.
- When rice comes to room temperature add yogurt and the tempering to it.
- Garnish with pomegranate pearls. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
