Steps to make Ogbono Soup:
  1. First, get your ingredients ready!
  2. Wash your stockfish thoroughly with hot water and salt, wash your meat too.
  3. Grind your ogbono and crayfish, blend your pepper and chop your onion.
  4. In a pot, add your meat, stockfish, chopped onion, 2 seasoning cubes, some salt and about 2 cups of water; cook till meat is tender.
  5. While the meat is cooking, place another pan over low heat; add your palm oil, ground ogbono and crayfish. Lightly fry for about 3-5mins.
  6. When your meat is tender, top up with water (add as much water as you'll need to cook the soup). Next, add your palm oil and ogbono mixture, along with the blended chillies. Simmer for about 5-7 mins.
  7. Check for seasoning and adjust to taste.
  8. Your ogbono soup is ready. Serve with eba, pounded yam, fufu or semo. Enjoy!
