  3. In a nonstick pan, heat oil and arrange cottage cheese pieces and shallow fry them until golden brown on both sides. Do not add too many pieces at one time, fry all the pieces in batches.
  4. In the same pan where the cottage cheese is shallow fried, add 2 tablespoon of oil and add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute it until garlic is light brown in colour. Add onion and capsicum to it and mix everything very well. Saute it on high heat for 2 minutes then add MSG, black pepper powder, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and salt. Mix everything well.
  5. Mix 1 tablespoon of corn flour in 2 cups of water and add that water to the pan. Now cook it on high heat until the gravy is thick.
  6. Now add cottage cheese to the gravy and mix everything very well. Let it heat for another 2 minutes. Add spring onion and turn off the heat.
  7. Paneer chilli gravy is ready to serve. Serve it with fried rice or noodles.
