- Heat oil in pan add mustard seeds when splutter add cumin seeds, when splutter add asafoetida then cauliflower and potato saute for 2 minutes on high flame now add ginger chilli paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt, mix well.
- Now add 1 tbsp water and turn flame to medium-low cover lid and cook for 4-5 minutes, open lid and stir well, cover lid and cook again for 3-4 minutes or till veg soften. Add garam masala powder,cumin powder pepper powder mix and turn off flame.
I really like the idea of using sweet potato in my cooking. I am not a fan of starchy tubers, but I do like sweet potato. So, when I do get my hands on one, I like to make this dish.
