- 🔹Method for dal - Boiled all dal in cooker for 5 whistle on medium flame - Heat oil in a pan. - Drop mustard seeds and let it sputter for few seconds. - Add cumin seeds,red dry chilli and curry leaves. - Add pinch of asafoetida. - Add onion and let it be little brown in colour. - Add tomatoes and saute it untill it becomes like gravy.
- Add turmeric,lasun chutney,red chilli powder,coriander and cumin powder,garam masala and salt. - Then add all boiled dal to it. - 2 glass of water and mix it well. - Cover the lid and simmer it on low flame for 10 min.
- 🔹Method for Bati - Take a vessel and add all the above mention ingredients and mix it well. - Now slowly add water to it and make a thick dough of it. - Make lemon sizes balls out of it. - Arrange it on OTG tray and on 230 degree for 20 minutes on preheated OTG. - Then drop this bati for a while in ghee and then take it out.
- 🔹Asssembling - Coarsely grind bati or make chura of it with hands. - Pour daal on it. - Sprinkle with coriander,papad lemon and fry chilli and ghee according to ur taste. - Our daal bati is ready now.
