  9. Heat clarified butter in a wok and add cumin seeds,dry red chilli and green chilli
  10. Add onion and ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 minutes
  11. Add boiled dal and other spices and mix well
  12. Boil for 5 minutes and switch off the flame
  13. For baati add all ingredients in a bowl and knead a hard dough
  14. Make small balls from the dough and smear clarified butter
  15. Put on the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes on 180°
  16. Take out baati from the oven and dip into melted clarified butter
