  3. Meanwhile heat a gas tandoor and roast the batis on low flame for sometime make sure they are brown and crispy
  4. Then break open from the top and pour some fresh ghee on the halves
  5. Then to prepare the dal wash both the dals together add water, turmeric pressure cook the daal till 3 whistles allow the cooker to cool and remove the daal
  6. Mix all the spice powder in 1/2cup water.to make thin.paste put ghee in a pan over medium flame add the cumin and corrinder seeds once they splutter,add ginger.then add the paste of spice powders and fry for a.minute add cooked dal
  7. Then add the remaining water a nd.stir well bring it a boil To get that extra zing,add lemon juice in.it check
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves serve hot with batis
