- Wash rice and dal 2 to 3 times and soak it for 5 to 6 hrs. While soaking add fenugreek seeds. Grind it finely. While grinding add soaked puffed rice to it. Make thick batter than normal dosa
- Keep it for fermentation for 8 hrs. After fermenting add salt and make dosa of it.
- Grind chillies, then add garlic, tamarind pulp and salt to it and grind it again. Add water to grind it finely and adjust the consistency.
- Take oil in kadhai, add udaddal, chanadal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves and make tempering and add this to chutney.
- Serve Sponge dosa with spicy red chilli garlic chutney
Set dosa is usually served with Coconut Chutney or Vegetable saagu. It tastes great with coconut chutney.
