- Take some oil in a pan, fry green chilies and ginger for 1 minute. Into this add the grated beetroots and carrots and sauté well in medium to low flame for 10 minutes Now add the boiled mashed potatoes, salt, roasted cumin & coriander powder and the garam masala powder. Mix well until everything gets soft for another 5 minutes.
- Cool the mixture and make round/ oval or cylindrical size (as per your choice) cutlets/chops.
- Make a thin white batter by mixing flour and water. Dip each cutlet in the batter and then roll them in bread crumbs to get a nice coated texture on all the sides. Deep fry the chops in hot oil in medium flame until golden brown. And there it goes… Your Lip Smacking Vegetable Chops are ready to be served - Take them hot with onion rings and tomato ketchup as I did….
