- Then add the chopped tomato in it and cook it for 2 minutes and then add the chopped potatoes and the soaked moth dal in it.
- Then add the turmeric powder and salt and mix it well and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Then add the mustard paste along with some water and cover the lid and cook it till one whistle.
- Switch off the flame and wait till the gas automatically released from the cooker.
- Then add the remaining 1 tsp of mustard oil, chopped coriander leaves and chilli(optional) in it and mix it well.
- Taste better when cool completely to room temperature and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
- Goes well as a side dish with plain rice.
