Sanna Pakoras are delicious in taste and enjoyed as an appetizer or an evening snack with a cup of tea. The first dish I wanted to make was the Sindhi dish Sanna Pakora. This was a dish I missed making for Indian Cooking Challenge and found that this is a great opportunity to try it. Pakora (pronounced [pəˈkoːɽaː]), also called pikora, pakoda, pakodi, fakkura, bhajiya, bhajji, bhaji or ponako, is a fried snack (fritter), originating from the Indian subcontinent.

Instructions to make Sanna Pakora:
  1. In a large bowl mix besan with 3 tbsp oil, then add onions, coriander leaves, green chillies, chilli powder, dhaniya powder, haldi powder, jeera powder, kitchen king masala, crushed coriander seeds, salt and methi leaves and mix.
  2. Then add water to make a thick batter. Heat oil and fry the pakoras slightly golden, then remove on an absorbent kitchen towel.
  3. Then break the pakoras into halves and again fry them till golden brown in colour.
