Punjabi Style Matar Paneer Recipe: Cubed and fried paneer chunks, sauteed with peas, green chillies along with a host of spices, tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Matar paneer is a classic vegetarian curry of Indian cheese and peas cooked in a tomato-based sauce.   2. Add chopped onion saute well.Then add tamotes,pinch of salt,and turmeric mix well.cook 7 min in low flame.
  3. After cooked this mixture.Let it cool.Make a paste in mixer jar.
  4. Heat ghee in a Kadai add Asafoetida,cumin seeds splutter it.Add paste saute 3 min in low flame.
  5. Then add all spices and sugar cook till oil spreads.Then add cream mix well cook 3 min in low flame.
  6. Then add cream cook till oil spreads.Then add boiled peas mix well.Add water and salt mix well cook 10 min in low flame
  7. Then heat a pan in oil shallow fry panner cubes.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves
