- Boil the Kathal bichi in pressure cooker in two whistles and drain and set aside. Put in a blender and blend coarsely. In a wok heat mustard oil and add green chillies, onion and garlic and add the shrimps. Fry for 2-3 mins.
- Add the blended Kathal bichi to the chringri. Stir well and add salt and stir one more time.
- Cool the whole mix
- Put the Chingri and Kathal bichi to the blender and mash. Don’t make it smooth but coarse. Drizzle with mustard oil before serving with rice
