  5. Don't put baking soda at once in whole batter. Take another bowl as much as u want the batter take add required baking soda add little water on soda. Whisk it properly. Will get smooth fluffy batter.
  6. Now add batter to the idli plates. Sprinkle cumin seeds, pepper powder, red chilli powder on the batter. Put the plates in the steamer. Close the lid. Steam it for 10 min.
  7. Check the idlis. Take out the plate and place another plate to the steamer. The plate we have taken out let it get little cool. So that u can take out idlis properly. With the help of knife or spoon take out idlis.
  8. Serve hot idlis with hot Sambhar and coconut Chutney
