- Get as per need Butter

- Take Peanut chutney
- Get 1 cup roasted Ground nuts
- Take 3 chillies
- Make ready 1/4th cup of coconut
- Get 7 garlic pods
- Take 1/4th inch Tamarind
- Get as per taste Salt
- Prepare For tempering
- Prepare As needed Curry leaves
- Prepare 1 dry chilli (can be adjusted according to your taste)
- Make ready 1 pinch hing
- Make ready 1/4 th tbsp jeera
- Take 1/2 tbsp mustard
- Take as required Salt

Steps to make BENNE RAGI DOSA / BUTTER RAGI DOSA:
- In a bowl add ragi flour. Here I have shown the picture of my cup for measurement. I have measured all the ingredients in this cup only.
- Add 1 cup of rice flour in to the bowl
- Add the curd in to bowl. Make sure the curd has no lumps
- Now, add chopped Onions, coriander,curryleaves,jeera,ginger and green chillies and salt as required.Mix well with water. If the batter is too thick. Add extra half cup of water.
- Apply oil on tawa. Wipe extra oil with kitchen towel / cloth
- Once tawa is hot, just pour the batter twice on tawa. And Please be noted that you should not spread dosa on tawa like normal one. Batter has to be poured on tawa.
- Drizzle oil on dosa and Place small butter cubes on dosa
- Spread the butter on dosa. Let it cook on medium flame.
- Once the dosa begin to get seperated from pan flip it to cook on other side
- Add roasted Ground nuts, chillies, garlic, tamarind, coconut and salt in mixer along with little amount of water. Make them all in to fine chutney
- In a kadai add oil. Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds.when the seeds splutter add jeera, red chilli,pinch of hing and curry leaves
- Tadda !!! Crispy and healthy dosa is ready to serve. Serve with peanut chutney/ coconut chutney.
Benne dosa or benne dose is a type of dosa which traces its origin from the city of Davangere in Karnataka, India. The term "benne dosa" in English language simply corresponds to butter dosa.
