- Keep all ingredients ready. Cook rice, Dhal, carrot, beans, potato and geen peas in a cooker separate vessels.
- Heat the oil in pan, season with cumin seeds, fry onions and coconut pieces and cinnamon stick. Let it cool. Grinde it in mixer jar with coriander, ginger and water to the paste.
- Heat the oil in a pan, season with musterd, groundnut, curry leaves, asafetida, and fry another one cup of onion, tomato. Saute well and cooked vegitables, tamrind pulp, grinded paste, Bisibelebath powder, salt and termeric and mix well on sim heat. Add half cup water and let it boil.
- Add cooked dhal and rice, mix well and keep on sim heat for two minutes by closing lid. Turn off heat. Now Toor dhal kichadi is ready. It can be eaten with raita and boondis. Sprinke coriander on it.
