  2. Take 1/2 kg Biryani rice

  7. Take 4-5 green chillies
  8. Take 1 stick cinnamon

  13. Take 2 tsp chilli powder
  14. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  17. Prepare As required Soaked saffron strands
  18. Make ready As required Raisins and cashewnuts for garnish

Egg biryani is a Hyderabadi food recipe prepared with boiled eggs, spices and basmati rice that is cooked on dum and garnished with caramalized onions and coriander leaves. This egg biryani is a great treat for egg lovers. It is very easy to make and does not take much time Apart from hard boiled eggs, I have also added scrambled eggs to this biryani, which makes it even. Instructions to make Egg Biryani:
  1. Boil eggs and clean it out,cook biryani rice with all full spices and drain it out
  2. Take a biryani pot put ghee in it then put raisins and cashewnuts clear it out then put 1 finely sliced onions and fry till it get crisped,add some coriander&mint leaves over it and keep aside for later garnish.
  3. Then put some more ghee in the pot and put left onions saute it till it get tender then put curry leaves and ginger garlic paste saute it then put all the dry powder in it at last put tomatoes and saute till tomatoes get tender and Masala should leave ghee from the side,give small cuts in the eggs and put it in the Masala,add coriander and some mint leaves and close the pot lid for 5 mins at low flame.
  4. At last layer the egg Masala and cooked rice and garnish it with ghee,soaked saffron strands,fried dry fruits and onions,sprinkle garam Masala and keep pots lid tightly closed for 10 mins at low flame.
  5. Serve it with papad,,pickle,raita etc
