Steps to make Upasache pattice:
  1. Add 2 tbsp of sabudana flour to the mashed potato with some salt and mix it. Set aside.
  2. For the filling, mix shredded coconut, crushed peanut, chopped cashes, raisins, green chillies, ginger, jeera, salt, sugar and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Make small discs of the potato and then fill it with the above mixture. Make it into a ball.
  4. Roll these in the sabudana flour for binding and frying.
  5. Fry in oil on medium flame untill golden.
  6. Serve hot with sweet yogurt or chutney.
  7. Tip: Quick chutney can be made by mixing peanut powder, chopped green chillies, sugar, salt and yogurt.
