- Prepare 2 drops Rose Essence –
These Meva Batis are then soaked in sugar syrup for a while and served warm. You will love the crispness, balanced sweetness. Now add milk powder, little by little and mix well. Stir the mixture really well and cook until it gets thick and smooth in consistency.
Steps to make Milk Powder Mawa Bati:
- Take rava in bowl,add water to it and keep aside for 10mins.
- In bowl add milk powder,ghee and oil.
- Dont knead just mix with your finger tips for even distirbution of oil and ghee
- Now add maida.
- Then soaked rava,baking powder.
- Again mix well with fingers
- Add a tbsp of milk first if it gathers then don’t add more
- Gather to form a sticky dough,Now keep covered with a cloth for 10mins.
- To make the sugar syrup : Take sugar, water and saffron in a pan mix well.
- Heat it up and let it boil for at least 10-12mins in medium flame.
- When the sugar syrup starts turning sticky switch off.
- Add rose essence and set aside.
- Take lemon size dough in hand make it flate add stuffing in between and roll it properly without crack.
- Heat ghee in a kadai for frying it.off the flame.
- Add mawa bati in ghee to fry stir kadhai continuously for even frying.fry it on low flame
- As you get desired colour take it out.
- Add it in sugar syrup.
- Left it for 15-20mins in it.s
- Serve hot mawa bati.
