- Clean the fish pieces and marinate it with pepper powder, salt, turmeric powder, and chilly powder. Leave it for 30 minutes.
- Shallow fry the fish in oil.
- Take the fish pieces out and add chopped shallots, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, green chillies(slit in the middle), coriander powder, and tomato to the oil.
- Transfer the fish pieces into the pan. Add the coconut milk and kokum fruits and cook for 5-8 minutes in low flame.
- Garnish with curry leaves.
