Cook the jackfruit in sufficient water till tender. Add chana dal and cook till tender. Kathal is Jackfruit, a giant fruit that grows anywhere on the tree, even closer to the roots. The fruit is edible in all phases.

Steps to make Awadhi chana dal and kathal ke kabab:
  1. Take pressure cooker add 1tbsp oil when is hot add cumin seeds than chana dal and jackfruit (kathal) black,green cardamom, garlic,chilli, ginger and black pepper,add 1.5 cup water and cook till 3 -4 whristle comes out.
  2. After totally cool down grind it as a fine paste(use some water) and take out in mixing bowl,
  3. Now in paste add all masala,onion,lemon juice and fresh coriander leaves,mix well and make a small tikki shape kabab,
  4. Than take pan add 1tbsp butter,ghee,or oil put kabab for roasting,roast till golden brown colour,than turn it over,same process repeat all kababs.
  5. Kabab is ready to serve,serve hot with parathas and chutney,or eat only kabab also,it's very delicious and flavourful taste.Enjoy💐☺️❤️
