- Take curd in bowl. Add gram flour, salt, sugar. Mix well. Add 1 cup water and whisk well until it form smooth paste without lumps. Keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. When it started splutter add asafoetida, ginger garlic chilli paste. Stir well.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander seed powder,cumin seed powder and red chilli powder. Stir well.
- Add finely chopped methi and sauté. Add 1/4 cup water cover and cook well.
- Now add curd mixture. Mix well and bring it to simmer. As it is simmers gravy becomes thick.
- Stir it again and it is ready to serve. Serve it with bajra rori, jawar roti, chapati or rice.
