- Prepare 2 pcs onion (big)
- Take 1 tbsp ginger & green chilli paste
- Take 2 tbsp yogurt

- Prepare 10-12 pcs raisins
- Get 4-6 pcs dry red chilli
- Take 2 pcs bay leaves

- Take 3 pcs cinnamon

- Take 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- Prepare 75 gm mustard oil
- Prepare 1 tsp cumin powder
- Get 1 tsp ghee
- Get 2 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions to make Ilish Malai Roast:
- At first, marinate the fish with salt, turmeric powder, yogurt and kashmiri red chilli powder. Apply the marinate evenly on both side of the fish. Keep it for 10 minutes.
- Heat a pot, put mustard oil, heated it and put butter and sugar. After that put whole garam masala, fry it until nice aroma will come out. Add sliced onion fry the sliced onion until tendered. Add dry red chilli into fried onion and fry it until water is vaporized. Add raisins, ginger and green chilli paste, kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder; fry the masala until the oil is surfaced.
- Place marinated fish into the fried masala. Add yogurt on top of the fish, cook the fish for a few minutes and gently move the fish on regular intervals to avoid stick on the pot. Add salt and cover with a lid for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Gently move the fish again, now carefully turn the fish to another side. It should be done individually to keep intact the fish. Now cover it again for 5-6min. After open the lid, add coconut milk and ghee and cover it again. Switch off the gas flame.
