Rinse the tomatoes-green chili-ginger, cut and grind them finely in a mixture jar. You can also grind the sweet corn kernels to make the cream but it taste more delicious if you grate. Top the corn, paneer, and tomato mix with this dressing and toss to mix. Tomato paneer curry is my go to recipe.
Instructions to make Tomato sweetcorn semiya with paneer:
- In a wok, add in the water and allow it to boil,
- Add in the semiya and cook covered until the semiya is well cooked.
- Cool the cooked semiya by spreading on a plate.
- In a pre heated pan with oil add in Chopped paneer and fry until brown. keep this aside
- In the same pan, add in oil and pop in the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
- To the pan add in ginger garlic paste and garam masala
- Grind tomatoes& green chilli in a blender and pour this mixture in the pan and let it cook covered for about 3 minutes.
- Grind sweet corn into a smooth paste and add in the gravy and cooked covered for about 3 mins.
- You can add water to adjust the consistency
- Pop in the fry paneer and mix.
- Now mix in gravy to the cooled semiya and blend well.
- Tomato-sweetcorn semiya with paneer is now ready to serve
