- Make ready 1 medium sized cauliflower or gobhi cut into florets
- Take 2 tbsp hung curd or dahi (yogurt)
- Take 1 tsp cashewnut,carom(ajwain) and sesame seed paste

- Make ready 1 tsp kasoori methi crushed
- Take 1.5 tbsp roasted gramflour or sattu
- Prepare To taste salt
- Get 1 pinch orange red food colour
- Take 1 tbsp oil
It tastes awesome as it is marinated with all spices and curd. Since it is baked or grilled,it becomes very healthy. Cauliflower is most definitely having a moment. And what better way to eat it than marinated with Patak's Tandoori Spice Marinade, yoghurt and fresh herbs & spices!
Instructions to make Tandoori Gobi:
- Cut 8-9 florets from cauliflower. Wash and smear salt.Heat water with little salt in a microsafe bowl.Immerse cauliflower in it and microwave for 1 minute.Rest it in hot water for 5 minutes then drain water completely.
- Grind cashew nuts sesame seeds and ajwain with curd.Mix this with ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,black pepper powder and gram flour.Add crushed kasoori methi, little salt, oil,tandoori masala,garam masala and pinch of orange red food colour.Mix all and marinate the cauliflower florets in it for 10 minutes.
- Heat a tandoor.Pierce the gobhi through skewers.Brush oil in the tandoori plate.Arrange the skewers in it and cook for 3 minutes.Turn over and brush little oil over cauliflower /gobi and cook for 2-3 minutes till well browned and done.Sprinkle lemon juice,chaat masala and chopped coriander.Serve hot with breads,tandoori roti or naan or as a starter with salad or coriander curd dip.
