- Make ready 1 cup chopped palak
- Make ready 2 medium sized boiled potato
- Prepare 2-3 green chilli

- Prepare 1 tsp chat masala
- Prepare 1 tsp elaichi powder

- Make ready 6-8 medium sized onions roughly chopped

- Make ready 1 tbsp roughly chopped ginger

- Get 1 1/2 tbsp cashew nuts
- Get 2 tbsp oil
- Take 1 tbsp butter
- Make ready 1 Small piece of cinnamon stick
- Prepare 2 cloves
- Get 2 whole Cardamons
- Make ready 1 bay leaf
- Prepare 1 whole red chilli
Let us start with preparing the kofta balls for the curry first. Clean the spinach leaves, remove the stalk and rinse the leaves with water thoroughly. Palak Kofta (spinach kofta curry) Fried Spinach Dumplings in a Creamy Tomato Sauce is a delicious vegetarian curry recipe. Spinach aka palak koftas are deep-fried balls/dumplings.
Steps to make Palak Kofta Curry:
- For Kofta : Blanch the palak. In a mixer, jar take the blanched palak, green chilli, ginger piece and make it into a pure.
- Take a bowl and mash the potatoes, add the palak puree, salt, Chat masala, elaichi powder and make small round balls
- Take oil into a pan and let it heat. Take a plate and add 1 tbsp cornflour and roll the Kofta on to it and deep fry them into the oil. Your Kofta is ready,keep it aside.
- FOR GRAVY : Take all the ingredients
- Take a pan and add 2 cups of water and let it boil. Add all the gravy ingredients and let it boil for 10 mins
- After 10 mins drain the ingredients and let it cool down. And make it into a smooth paste
- Take a pan, add oil and butter. Once heated add bay leaf, whole red chilli, Cardamon, clove, and cinnamon sticks.
- Then add onion paste, and sauté for 5 mins. Now add 2 tbsp curd, 1tsp sugar and mix well. Boil for few seconds and add required water. As per your gravy consistency.
- Add 1 tbsp fresh cream, switch of the gas snd mix well. Your Kofta gravy is ready
- When serving first place the gravy and then put the Kofta on top. Enjoy your delicious palak Kofta curry with paratha or roti or naan
How to make palak paneer kofta curry: Take all the ingredients needed for the koftas and mix them well. Make small round balls and roll them in some cornflour. Now deep fry them on low heat till they. Fusion of Kofta and Palak Paneer is Palak Paneer Kofta Curry.
