  8. Add tomatoes, some salt mix it properly again saute till 3or 4 min. then add cooked dal and simmer for 1 to 2 min on medium flame.
  9. Heat the tdka pan with remaining ghee add asafotida and red Kashmiri chili powder now turn off the flame immediately and pour the tdka over cooked dal.
  10. Now it is done you can serve with chapati or steamed rice.
