- Take a heavy pan and add ghee.. now add mungdal paste. Stir continuously..low to medium flame.Make sure that the paste doesn't stick to the base.
- Cooked well still it gets nice light brown colour..
- Add milk and cook till all the milk is absorbed by the dal.
- Now add sugar.. Cook on low heat till the halwa turns brown and starts to leave ghee from sides. Keep stirring continuously during this process
- Now of the gas flame. Halwa is ready
- Garnish with almond and pistachio
